Stage One
The referral agent will complete an Application Monitoring form with the young person to check eligibility.
|
|
Stage Two
The young person will be invited to attend an Initial Housing Interview. This is to assess the young persons housing situation and personal support needs.
If the Initial Housing Interview was successful, the young person will need to complete a Careers Assessment Interview.
This is to assess the young person’s current level of education, training and employment, while highlighting what the young person would like to do in the future.
|
|
Stage Three
The young person’s application is then reviewed by the: - Senior Housing Manager
- Employment and Training Manager
- Care Leaver's Manager (if referred by Social Services)
If the application is accepted the young person will be offered a place on a residential or non residential assessment programme for approximately 6-8 weeks.
|
Unsuccessful
If at any stage of the process the young person does not match our criteria, the referral agent will be notified.
It is then the responsibility of the referral agent to either explain to the young person why he or she was unsuccessful, re-submit the application or find alternative accommodation.
